Space4Security Workshop

Space4Security Workshop, the debut event of Székely Family & Co. Ltd., took place on January 22, 2020, receiving great interest. Available participant slots have already run out the previous week.

End users, industry partners and research participants were present in a closed to ideal distribution. We also welcomed policy maker representatives from the National Research, Development and Innovation Office.

After a brief introduction of the company everyone presented their business and its activities. We discussed ESA’s Space4Security program, for which two specific case studies were included. Our international guest, EUSpaceImaging, also gave a presentation in this section. After that, space was given for B2B conversation to create many high-quality, successful new business relationships.

To continue, the Security section of the H2020 Framework Program was presented, including specific calls, and possible cooperation opportunities were discussed.

Last but not least, the startups currently being incubated by ESA BIC Hungary presented themselves, showing how space technology can be used in everyday life.

The presentations and contact details of the participants will be available to members of the closed group.

The next workshop on transportation is expected in April, where the focus will be on surface and underground transportation, and we will look at pipeline transport as a case study. Anyone interested in attending the event is welcome to apply via any of our contacts, but please note that space is limited and members have priority when applying.

We will keep you updated, here on our homepage and on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter!
